Chilliwack School District No. 33 is hiring an Assistant Manager of Transportation, who will work closely with the Transportation Manager and the Director of Facilities & Transportation.
Your role will involve coordinating daily operations, managing route planning, and fleet maintenance. You will also handle inquiries and support staff scheduling while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily transportation operations and logistics
• Resolve transportation inquiries from parents and schools
• Assist in route planning and driver scheduling
• Support administrative functions, including payroll tasks
• Help ensure fleet compliance and safety operations
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and post-secondary education in relevant fields
• 2-4 years in the transportation field with management experience
• Familiarity with computerized systems for routing
• Valid BC Class 2 driver’s license and clean abstract
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
