$20.50/hr - $27.50/hr

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision, in accordance with state, federal, and company policy; follow the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow.
• If PTCB certified, assist with and coach pharmacy technicians in the operation of pharmacy systems and cashiers in the operation of the pharmacy cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Handle customer interactions, resolve issues, and support customers with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with inventory management activities (ordering, unpacking, checking, storing) and support related asset protection processes.
• Support pharmacy staff in clinical services as required, including coordination with healthcare providers and clinics.
• Maintain professional relationships with the local medical community and other health care providers to support growth opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Staff Pharmacist.

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or where covered by a collective bargaining agreement).

• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Good math skills (counting, measuring, weighing medications).
• Basic level PC skills (start up/shut down computer, use mouse, switch between programs, save files, print documents, access information online).
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
