POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba/Alvarado is seeking an Electronics Engineer based in our Chino, CA facility. The Electronics Engineer is responsible for designing the electrical portion of new products and participating in and assisting firmware developers. The ability to write code is not required, but desired. The Electronics Engineer will provide sustaining engineering for existing products and periodic support to the production and technical product support teams.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Develop a thorough competence with respect to existing products, design wire routings and wire harnesses
- Design PCB layout and test fixtures
- Design system tests and processes and perform testing
- Produce and update product system documentation, drawings and specifications
- Periodically write engineering bulletins and technical documentation
- Prepare and submit documentation for testing agency approval
- Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Bachelor of Science - Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer license
- Experience with writing code
