We are a leading supplier of building envelope solutions focused on energy efficiency and sustainability in both commercial and residential applications. We are seeking a second‑shift Maintenance Technician for our Chino, CA plant.
Job SummaryMaintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems within a manufacturing environment. Execute capital projects that involve installation and dismantling of equipment, and perform other maintenance tasks throughout the facility. Expected hours are 40 per week with a variable shift schedule of 8–10 hour shifts, including occasional overtime and weekend hours. No travel is required.
Duties And Responsibilities- Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance work.
- Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems.
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, mark defective areas, or advise supervisors of repair needs.
- Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specific procedures.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
- Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
- Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse to maintain machinery and work areas.
- Clean machines and machine parts using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of measuring gauges such as tape measures.
- Knowledge of various hand and power tools.
- Prior experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to complete assigned tasks in stressful situations.
- Proficiency with hand and portable tools, gas and arc welder, forklift, pickup truck, testing equipment, tape measure, and shop‑floor ERP computer systems.
- High‑school diploma or GED required.
- One to two years of related maintenance experience.
- Preferred experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, or boiler maintenance.
- Mechanical background with rotating equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
- Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with exposure to ambient temperatures, dust, mechanical parts, pinch points, and increased noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous mechanical, electrical, and chemical substances/equipment.

Per the state’s Wage Transparency Act, the range for this position is $31.18–$33.59 per hour. Actual salary could be greater based on education, experience, and other qualifying skill sets.
