RN - ICU

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and guides patient/family teaching as well as the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and abnormal results and symptomatology.

This role requires a quick and accurate response to changes in condition and/or response to treatment while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Utilize the nursing process for patient care delivery.
• Provide direct patient care and oversee the activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers about patient conditions.
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality throughout care.

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, preferably in critical care
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred
• MEPIC EMR experience required
