Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry - Per Diem (Days) Schedule
- Per Diem, 12-hour day shifts
- No guaranteed hours
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a per diem day shift role. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and delivering comprehensive care in a telemetry unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to alarms, and intervene as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Guide and support patient / family teaching and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Accurately document care and maintain standards of practice.
- Communicate promptly with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, test results, or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Telemetry or acute care required.
- Experience with ventilator management preferred.
- COVID vaccination / boosters preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
