8am to 5pm, M-FPosition Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and SQF programs at a facility specializing in dry mix repacking. This role is responsible for maintaining food safety standards, ensuring product quality, managing audits, and supervising Quality personnel while partnering with Operations, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implement and maintain SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA, FSMA, and other applicable food safety requirements.

Lead internal, customer, regulatory, and SQF certification audits.

Oversee quality inspections for repacking, packaging, labeling, lot coding, product specifications, and finished goods.

Manage allergen controls, sanitation verification, environmental monitoring, pest control, and foreign material prevention.

Maintain product traceability, mock recalls, product holds, releases, and disposition procedures.

Investigate customer complaints, quality issues, and nonconformances; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Ensure accurate quality documentation, production records, sanitation logs, and training records.

Supervise and train Quality Technicians and reinforce employee compliance with food safety procedures.

Review supplier documentation, product specifications, and packaging and labeling requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications3–5 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or Regulatory Compliance within the food manufacturing industry.

Previous supervisory experience required.

Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, FDA regulations, FSMA, allergen management, and sanitation programs.

HACCP certification required.

SQF Practitioner training/certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.

PCQI certification strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.

Food manufacturing or food ingredient industry experience strongly preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Ideal CandidateA hands-on Quality professional with strong food safety knowledge, experience in dry mix or food ingredient operations, and the ability to maintain audit readiness, lead a Quality team, and ensure consistent compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
