R&D Lab Technician

$20–$25/hr

M-F 8am-5pm

Contract to hire

The Lab Technician supports daily Research & Development (R&D) laboratory operations, including stability testing, raw material handling, sample processing, documentation, supply ordering, and lab batch preparation. This role requires strong organization, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory
• Submit samples with complete and accurate documentation
• Keep a detailed and compliant lab notebook
• Report findings and results to R&D management
• Prepare and execute lab batches
• Support R&D team members and collaborate with Pre-Weigh and QA
• Prepare written reports summarizing work and results
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma required
• 2+ years of Lab Technician experience
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced setting
• Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems and databases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid statistical and mathematical abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift/pull at least 25 lbs
