R&D Lab Technician; Personal Care

Job Summary

The client, a personal care manufacturer, is looking for a skilled R&D Lab Technician to join their team in Pomona, CA. This opportunity offers a chance to gain R&D experience in the personal care industry. The role involves supporting the R&D laboratory, including stability programs, sample handling, lab batch preparation, documentation, and coordination with internal and external teams. The candidate must work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision while adhering to established procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory.
• Process and submit lab samples with complete, accurate documentation.
• Maintain a compliant laboratory notebook.
• Report results and findings to R&D management.
• Prepare and execute lab batches; become proficient in lab procedures.
• Assist R&D team members as needed.
• Collaborate with Pre‑Weigh, Quality Assurance, and other departments.
• Prepare written reports summarizing work performed and results obtained.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required or B.S.
• Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in R&D or similar settings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid statistical, mathematical, and data analysis abilities.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physically able to lift 25 lbs. and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
