Reed Accountancy and Finance are recruiting on behalf of a growing, multi-site business seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience across management accounting, business partnering, systems implementation, and acquisition integration projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Month-end accounting, reconciliations, and reporting

• VAT returns and bookkeeping across multiple entities

• Supporting payroll processes and cash management activities

• Managing supplier payments and maintaining accurate financial records

• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business

• Supporting finance transformation initiatives and process improvements

• Assisting with the implementation of Microsoft Business Central

• Supporting newly acquired businesses through onboarding and integration

About you:

• AAT qualified, studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA, Passed finalist. Newly qualified or qualified by experience

• Previous experience within a finance or accounting role

• Strong reconciliation and month-end accounting skills

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
