We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and established car dealer group based in Chippenham, for a Vehicle Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a long-standing, franchise-approved dealership and develop their career within a supportive team environment.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Ensure vehicle faults are accurately identified and reported to the Service Manager
- Maintain safety, reliability, and performance standards of vehicles
- Adhere to quality procedures set by the client and manufacturer
- Complete work within specified time frames while ensuring high-quality standards
- Keep accurate documentation of services and repairs
- Assist with vehicle inspections, including MOT testing if qualified (training provided if not yet qualified)
- Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
- Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or higher in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Previous experience working within a franchised dealership or similar environment
- Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently
- Strong team player with a committed attitude
- Ideally possess an active MOT licence (training provided if not)
- Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Chippenham
