No day will be the same - here are some of the highlights

This is an exciting, newly created position within our Pricing team, perfect for someone with a strong STEM background or a robust analytical skillset, paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen willingness to learn.

Working across domestic supply, you will help ensure pricing activity is delivered accurately, consistently, and on time. Your focus will be the processes, controls, and coordination that turn approved pricing decisions into well-governed changes in our systems and the market.

You will coordinate the end-to-end pricing calendar, gather inputs, track actions and approvals, and maintain clear records. Working with Pricing, Energy Optimisation, Finance, Data, Proposition, Marketing, Compliance, and third parties, you will help ensure approved tariffs and price changes are configured accurately and delivered to deadline.

As part of the role, you will support the triage and resolution of pricing issues, complete defined quality checks, and help improve how the team works. You will document processes, identify recurring failures or manual steps, and support changes that make pricing operations more efficient, controlled, and resilient.

Responsibilities:
  • Pricing Process & Timetable Coordination: Gain valuable experience by supporting end-to-end pricing activity, including coordinating timetables, tracking dependencies, and ensuring tariff launches, price changes, and closures happen seamlessly on time.
  • Data Management & Quality Assurance: Ensure robust data integrity by performing quality and reconciliation checks on pricing data and system outputs, escalating exceptions promptly, and maintaining clear audit trails.
  • System Controls & Governance: Maintain process documentation, version controls, checklists, and approvals to ensure all pricing activity complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Problem Solving & Defect Resolution: Log, triage, and track pricing issues through to resolution, identifying recurring causes and helping implement practical improvements to make our operations more efficient and resilient.
  • Market Insight & Reporting: Complete competitor pricing research and assist in developing data-driven narratives and presentation materials to clearly communicate commercial options and recommendations to senior leadership
What you'll need to succeed

As a Pricing Operations Coordinator you will be organised, numerate and highly detail focused. You will enjoy making cross-functional processes run smoothly and will be confident following controls while spotting when something does not look right. You will understand the importance of accurate records, approvals and deadlines within a regulated environment.

You will be confident using Excel to check and reconcile data and comfortable learning new systems. You do not need to be a pricing modeller, but you will be curious about how information flows through a process and how errors can affect customers and the business. With clear communication skills, you will be comfortable chasing inputs, resolving straightforward issues and escalating risks.

  • Strong organisation and coordination skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and dependencies
  • Numerate and confident checking, reconciling and working with data in Microsoft Excel
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a disciplined approach to controls, documentation and version management
  • Proactive and dependable, with sound problem-solving skills and confidence escalating issues

  • Clear written and verbal communicator, comfortable coordinating activity and escalating issues
  • Able to work effectively and deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • A great collaborator with a strong customer and service focus
  • Experience or academic project work involving process design, operations, data management, or commercial analysis.
  • Experience in energy, another regulated sector, pricing operations or process improvement
