Portsmouth, Hampshire or Chippenham, Wiltshire / Hybrid Role

Theyhaveexperiencewithindefence,nuclear,space,securityandtransportsectorsoftheUKandNATOwhichenablestheirteamtoprovidesolutionstosupportadiversestakeholdergroupandcommunityofvaryingsizesandcomplexity.
youwillbeworkingwithclientstoanalysetheirproblems;capturerequirements;createarchitectures;identifypotentialoptions;assesssolutionsusingsystemsanalysismethods;andmakerecommendationsbasedonrobustevidence.
Projectswilltypicallybeinsupportofresearchandprocurementactivitiesinthedefenceandsecuritysectorbutmayincludeworkinothersectorsandgovernmentdepartments.
Youwillhaveabackgroundpreferablyin Space Systems and C4 ISystems,Digital Engineering,Network Systems,Telecommunications,Defence Systems.
Responsibilities for the role of Systems Engineering Consultantwillinclude :- Delivering/leadingtechnicalconsultingprojects.
- Usingsystemsengineeringtotacklerealworldproblems,applyingtoolsandtechniques,anddevelopingnovelapproacheswhererequired.
- Applyinganddevelopingsystemsengineeringmethods,toolsandtechniques,includingdevelopingandapplyingnovelapproacheswhererequired.
- Workingorganicallyincustomerteamstodeliverhighqualitysystemsengineeringadvice&artefacts.
- Buildingnewrelationshipsandmaintainingcurrentcustomerrelationships.
- Assisting/leadinginidentifyingandwinningworkforanewandgrowingconsultancy.
Thesuccessfulcandidatemustbeabletodemonstratethefollowingessentialanddesirableattributes:
Essential- Educatedtodegreelevel,orequivalentrelevantexperience.
- Abilitytouseandapplyboth‘soft’and‘hard’systemsengineeringtechniquestosupportsystemdesign/development,businessdecisionmaking,policy development,and/or research.
- Development,application,anddeliveryofsystemsengineeringmethods,toolsandartefacts.
Knowledge and Understandingofthe Systems Engineering Lifecycle .]. - Buildingandmaintainingclientandstakeholderrelationships.
- Authoringtechnicalreports,developingsystemsengineeringartefacts,andpresentingtocustomers.
- Experience within Space Systems ,C4
ISTAR,Satellite Systemsispreferable

- Membershipofrelevantprofessionalinstitutionandadesireforfurtherprofessionaldevelopment.
