We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our county-wide Learning Disability Service, supporting individuals with complex health needs, challenging behaviours and mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team while working closely with experienced clinical leaders. * Be professionally accountable for a designated caseload of adults with learning disabilities who present with profound and multiple disabilities, complex health needs, challenging behaviour and/or mental health needs.
* Undertake specialist occupational therapy assessments, interventions and reviews.
* Function as a key member of the integrated county-wide multidisciplinary Learning Disability Service.
* Contribute to the delivery and development of services in line with national learning disability strategies and best practice guidance.
* Delegate, supervise and support junior staff members within the service.
* Support the Clinical Lead with service prioritisation, planning and operational delivery.
* Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement and quality assurance activities.
