YourRole
As a core Vehicle Technician in our Chippenham franchise team, you will handle a true variety of technical work:
- Diagnostics & Rectification: Use modern diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve vehicle faults accurately.
- Servicing & Repairs: Carry out routine vehicle servicing, mechanical maintenance, and safety-critical repairs to strict manufacturer specifications.
- Latest Technology: Stay updated with the latest automotive systems and electrical technology introduced across our vehicle range.
- Quality Assurance: Road-test vehicles and utilise diagnostic tools after work is completed to guarantee "right first time" safety and quality.
- Documentation: Accurately complete digital job cards, technical reports, and warranty documentation, detailing any faults found or repairs completed.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent City & Guilds / time-served experience).
- Experience: Proven track record as a confident Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a professional workshop setting.
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Traits: Excellent attention to detail, a professional approach to workshop safety, and a desire to complete manufacturer-backed accreditations.
Based in Chippenham, our workshop facility is perfectly situated for an easy daily commute from Melksham, Trowbridge, Bath, Swindon, Calne, and Corsham.
