Vehicle Technician Manufacture training

We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our busy, clean, and modern workshop facility in Chippenham. • Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year (depending on experience).
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 – One in every two Saturday mornings.

As a core Vehicle Technician in our Chippenham franchise team, you will handle a true variety of technical work:

• Diagnostics & Rectification: Use modern diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve vehicle faults accurately.
• Servicing & Repairs: Carry out routine vehicle servicing, mechanical maintenance, and safety-critical repairs to strict manufacturer specifications.
• Latest Technology: Stay updated with the latest automotive systems and electrical technology introduced across our vehicle range.
• Quality Assurance: Road-test vehicles and utilise diagnostic tools after work is completed to guarantee "right first time" safety and quality.
• Documentation: Accurately complete digital job cards, technical reports, and warranty documentation, detailing any faults found or repairs completed.

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent City & Guilds / time-served experience).
• Experience: Proven track record as a confident Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a professional workshop setting.
• Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Traits: Excellent attention to detail, a professional approach to workshop safety, and a desire to complete manufacturer-backed accreditations.
