Night Manager

At Morrisons, the real magic happens overnight. As our Night Manager, you are the store's engine room; leading from the floor to ensure our shelves are fully stocked, counters are prepped, and the store is 100% ready for our customers every morning.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the night shift, setting the pace, driving efficiency, and keeping team morale high.

• Leading overnight:
  Inspiring, coaching, and supporting a dedicated night shift team.
• Setting the Stage:
  Ensuring immaculate store presentation and setup so our morning specialists hit the ground running.
• Mastering Operations:
  Driving high-volume stock replenishment, labour efficiency, and smooth stock flow.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Enforcing strict Health & Safety, store security, and cold-chain temperature controls.
• Stock Integrity:
  Managing inventory accuracy, shrink, and waste to maximize yield.

You’re a resilient, high-energy leader who takes pride in delivering flawless standards before the sun comes up.

• Operations Focused:
  Strong grasp of stock control, labour productivity, and shift planning.
• Proven Leader:
  Experience managing teams in high-volume retail, logistics, or hospitality (overnight experience a plus)
• Hands-on Approach:
  You lead from the front, setting the pace on the shop floor.
• Great Communicator:
  Able to boost night-team morale and deliver clear handovers to daytime managers.
