Position: Support Worker - Supported Accommodation

We have an exciting opportunity for a
Support Worker
to join our Accommodation Based Service steam providing housing and support to Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, and Care Experienced young people in Wiltshire
.

We are looking for Support Workers
to join a new service in full-time positions. Applications from everyone are welcome, including those with lived experience, care experience or refugees with Leave to Remain
.

  • You will assist the Management Team with the oversight of homes,
    leading on support and safety
    .
  • You will be a role model to the young people
    , continually pushing for the highest standards.
  • Your support will be trauma-informed
    . You will understand people’s backgrounds and champion
    diversity and inclusion
    .
  • There is so much variety
    . You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home, safety planning to reduce harm, helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to, support with independent living skills, and obtain refugee status.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be patient, kind, resilient, professional, with a calm and caring approach
. Due to the location of our properties, you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
.

Position:
Support Worker (Job )

Hours:Full-time is 39.375 hours per week. Working 8am-8:15pm - 3 days on 4 off then 4 days on 3 off alternating.

Contract:Permanent

Location:Trowbridge, with some homes in Chippenham and Salisbury.

Pay:£27,452 FTE
