VGC Group are looking for experienced Traffic Marshall to start on a project in Chippenham. This contract is available to start on 27th July
and we can offer up to 5+ weeksto a successful candidate.

Traffic Marshall experience
Your role as a Traffic Marshall will be based in Chippenham
and will consist of:
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Direct and control the movement of vehicles entering and exiting the site.
- Ensure that vehicles and pedestrians follow site safety rules and regulations.
- Implement traffic management plans to minimize disruption and maximize safety.
- Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Implement and enforce safety measures to protect site workers, visitors, and the public.
- Use appropriate signage, barriers, and other tools to manage traffic flow safely.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, site personnel, and pedestrians using hand signals, radios, or other communication devices.
- Provide instructions and guidance to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
- Act as a point of contact for any traffic-related queries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic movements, incidents, and safety checks.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and filed as required.
- Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Based in Chippenham
remuneration for this role is £18.03per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
