Warehouse Operative; Heavy Lifting

Position: Warehouse Operative (Heavy Lifting)
SUNDAY - THURSDAY 08:00-16:00 £ 13.09 PER HOUR

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe handling and management of materials. Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently
Handle materials through picking, packing, loading, and unloading processes
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch
Stock shelves and organise inventory in accordance with company standards
Conduct basic maintenance and mechanical checks on equipment
Support construction-related tasks as needed for warehouse setup or modifications
Ensure all materials handling complies with health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments
Proficiency with forklift operation and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable
Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
Experience in stock management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Basic understanding of construction or related manual tasks is a plus
