Forklift & Warehouse Operative - Chippenham People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift & Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Chippenham on a full-time ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable warehouse and logistics environment. You will be working within a busy warehouse environment, supporting daily operations across both the Chippenham and Calne sites while ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Forklift Driver, Counterbalance Driver or Warehouse Operative.

Please note:

Due to travel between sites, access to your own transport is essential. Rates of Pay: £13.20 per hour Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 Benefits:

Your duties as a Forklift & Warehouse Operative are:
Supporting warehouse processes within a busy working environment Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently Moving materials and stock around the warehouse and yard Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently Preparing customer orders for dispatch Using a jet wash to clean equipment and yard areas Completing general warehouse and yard duties Carrying out stock checks and completing basic documentation Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment Working across both the Calne and Chippenham sites when required Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a Forklift & Warehouse Operative , you will need:
Valid Counterbalance Licence Confidence using tools and related equipment Reliable and hardworking attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times Good communication skills Excellent attention to detail Access to your own transport due to travel between sites Training:
