McDonell Area Catholic Schools | St. Charles Early Childhood Center | Chippewa Falls, WI
Love working with kids? Want a job where the best part of your day is when the bell rings?
McDonell Area Catholic Schools is looking for warm, energetic people to join our after school and school break team. This is where kids unwind, play, create and learn after the school day ends. And on days off from school, it's where families know their children are safe, happy and cared for.
You'll be one of the trusted adults our kids look forward to seeing. That matters to us, and it matters to our families.
What you'll do- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, from crafts and games to outdoor play and hands-on learning
- Create a classroom space that's welcoming, safe and fun
- Get to know each child and meet them where they are
- Keep parents in the loop with friendly, open communication
- Do daily health and safety checks and help with snack time
- Help guide volunteers, substitutes and newer staff in the room
- Let administration know about schedule changes or attendance concerns
- Report any signs of child abuse, as required for everyone who works with children
- Patience, a sense of humor and plenty of energy
- A heart for our Catholic mission and a desire to support it
You'll be part of a five-campus Catholic school community that cares about its people. You'll work alongside teachers and staff who share your values. And your schedule fits nicely around school days and breaks, which makes this a great fit for college students, retirees, parents and anyone looking for meaningful part-time work.
You'll report to the director of early childhood programs and the assistant director of early childhood programs.
