System Analyst

Chippewa County – Department of Administration – Information Technology Division

• Design, build, and implement secure server systems across the enterprise
• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize servers, applications, phone systems, operating systems, and software with a focus on law enforcement and the City of Chippewa Falls
• Responsible for Chippewa County computer security and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines regarding protection of sensitive data
• Troubleshoot performance issues and provide capacity planning solutions
• Analyze and resolve end‑user hardware and software issues and provide end‑user training as required
• Provide responsive, courteous, and efficient service to County residents and the general public

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science or related field with at least two (2) years recent experience in system analysis, server management, and project management principles
• OR Associate’s degree in Information Technology with at least six (6) years recent experience in system analysis, server management, and project management principles

• Virtualization experience
• Experience working in the public sector
• Valid driver’s license and cell phone required
