job overviewestablished high reliability iso 9001:2015 certified electronics manufacturer, rex systems incorporated (rsi) is seeking a full-time electronic assembly technician.
essential functions- assembly of electronic and mechanical parts, wiring of electronic components.
- assembly of basic and intricate electro‑mechanical parts, printed wiring boards, repairs, and complex wiring.
- utilize production documents (assembly instructions, assembly drawings, assembly parts lists, etc.), production forms, and production tools.
- prepare material by studying assembly instructions, parts lists, and gathering tools.
- solder and inspect solder connections to ipc industry standards.
- maintain a work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
- complete production and quality documentation as required.
- work independently in a team‑oriented environment with a positive attitude to achieve goals.
on‑the‑job training provided.
- minimum requirements: high school diploma or ged.
- detail‑oriented, manual dexterity, excellent hand‑eye coordination.
- ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- ability to utilize respirators and other ppe as required.
- preferred but not required: ipc j‑std‑001 certification, solder experience, prior work experience in a manufacturing setting.
