Part-time Outside Sales Representative - Auto Auction

Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Part-time Outside Sales Representative to drive territory growth, dealer engagement, and consignment volume within the automotive auction industry. This field-based sales role is responsible for developing new dealer relationships, growing existing accounts, increasing digital auction participation, and serving as a trusted advisor to dealership partners.

The ideal candidate has experience in outside sales, business development, account management, or territory sales and thrives in a relationship-focused environment. This position requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with dealers, conduct product demonstrations, provide training, and identify growth opportunities.

• Top hourly pay, based on experience + monthly commission

• Develop and grow relationships with automotive dealers and consignors to increase auction participation and business growth.
• Prospect, network, and generate new accounts while re-engaging inactive customers.
• Conduct dealership visits to promote auction services, digital tools, and consignment opportunities.
• Build strong partnerships with dealership decision-makers and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless auction experience and customer satisfaction.
• Represent the auction at industry events, trade shows, dealer meetings, and community activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proven business development, consultative sales, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with dealership owners, managers, and key decision-makers.
• Strong organizational, territory management, and account development abilities.
• Comfortable presenting solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and training customers on digital tools.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to building long-term relationships.
• Collaborative team player who works effectively across departments to support customer success.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally for dealer visits, meetings, and industry events.

• At least three (3) years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or territory sales.
• At least one (1) year of experience in automotive, auctions, dealerships, fleet/lease, wholesale, or related industry is preferred.
