As Park School continues to grow, we are thrilled to invite an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join our warm, ambitious, and close‑knit team in the heart of Chipping Norton. Bring your passion for English, deliver high‑quality lessons, shape the curriculum, inspire young minds, and help students find their voice through language, literature, and creativity.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated English curriculum in line with the school’s aims and policies.
- Provide strategic leadership for the English subject area, ensuring its effective development and continuous improvement.
- Raise student attainment by fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment.
- Share best practice and support the professional development of colleagues to enhance teaching quality across the school.
- Monitor and support students’ academic progress and personal development within the subject area.
- Actively contribute as a key member of the curriculum team, ensuring high standards and collaborative practice.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English
- A proven ability to engage, motivate and raise achievement
- Experience in subject leadership or curriculum development is desirable, but not essential
