Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

As a Maths Teacher, deliver inspiring and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of every pupil, enabling them to make excellent academic and personal progress.

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to create an engaging classroom where pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn. Play an integral role in helping young people overcome barriers to learning while preparing them for future success.

May also take on the role of Form Tutor, supporting pupils' pastoral development, working alongside families and professionals, and leading a team of Teaching Assistants.

• Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated Maths lessons that inspire every learner.
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that helps pupils achieve their individual targets.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing, and positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to maximise achievement.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and digital recording tools to celebrate progress and inform future learning.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching Maths across secondary age pupils.
• High expectations and genuine belief that every child can succeed.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.
• Experience with in an SEN or specialist setting desirable but not essential.
