We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Tyre Modelling Engineer to join our Simulation group within our Performance Group s position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins. • To develop and parameterise a variety of tyre models including Thermal Mechanical Model to ensure they accurately reflect real world performance of tyres
• To understand and characterise all aspects of tyre performance through research and development of state-of-the-art characterisation techniques
• Development and maintenance of various tyre models used for vehicle performance simulations
• Vehicle / Simulation / Simulator data analysis to assess tyre model correlation and identify tyre model parameters
• Support tyre-specific simulator testing, including test specification, real time support during testing, post-test data analysis and reporting
• Problem solving in areas of vehicle dynamics and performance as required by the team’s priorities
• The position is factory based

• Educated to degree level or equivalent within relevant Science or Engineering discipline
• Essential: good base understanding of tyre thermo-mechanical models or FE models
• Proficient in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++/C#
• Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics, including suspension kinematics and compliance
