Senior Design Engineer – Powertrains

Company ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our Powertrains Design group within the Engineering Office s role is essential to help us push for podiums and race wins through engineering excellence and advanced technology.

• Contribute to detailed design specifications from cradle to grave, defining and supporting component or system validation, servicing, and utilisation.
• Concept design and scheming of components.
• Detailing machined parts, patterns, moulds and specifying laminates.
• Extending to component jigs and build tooling.
• Resolve any design issues as they arise.

• Previous experience in F1 or another high‑level motor sport strongly preferred.
• Degree level education in Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of engineering first principles.
• Experience with CAD (Catia V5/3DX preferred, training provided for NX or similar).
• Self‑motivated, analytical, and a pragmatic decision‑maker capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Creative, innovative and consistent approach to problem‑solving.
