Mechanical Design Engineer specialised in Electrical Systems Integration to join our Electronics group within the Engineering Office s position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins.

The role of our Mechanical Design Engineer-Electrical Systems Integration:

The main responsibilities are the 3DMechanical Design and integration of all Electrical components on and off carin accordance withthe F1 technical regulations.

The role involves the 3D design of composites and metallic parts alongside the design and routing of complex wiring harnesses.

You willalsobe using CAD data to produce components and harnesses’ mechanical drawing sand associated documentation to ensure the electrical components and assemblies are installed asperdesignintent.

Additional activities will include working on future car programmes along with the implementation of development technologies.

Who we want

We are looking to enhance our talented team with someone who haspreviousexperience, ideally within F1 or another high-level motor sport. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical

Engineering and have a solid base knowledge of engineering first principles.

Previous CAD experience is essential. Ideally with Catia V5/3DXandknowledge of Electrical Workbench, but we will support with training if NX or similar is your expertise.

A good understanding of motor sport electrical systems is beneficial with solid knowledge of military spec connectors and harness design. We need someone who is self-motivated, analytical, and a pragmatic decision-maker capable of working with minimal supervision. We seek someone with a creative, innovative, and consistent approach to problem-solving.
