Accounts Assistant

They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Chipping Norton based finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants to grow within a supportive organisation that values quality, balance and continuous improvement.

If you enjoy working across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and financial operations, this position offers variety, development and the chance to be part of a collaborative and purpose driven team.

You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to a multi entity environment where accuracy and process improvement are central to the group’s success.

• Process supplier invoices and support the accounts payable function
• Raise customer invoices and support accounts receivable
• Carry out bank reconciliations and statement reconciliations
• Assist with cash allocation and follow up on outstanding balances
• Help maintain accurate financial records across the group
• Support monthly reporting tasks and month end processes
• Assist with data cleansing and preparation for new system workflows
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or a similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Interest in professional development including AAT, ACCA or CIMA studies
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
