Cotswold Financial Solutions Ltd, a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, is looking for a qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its established and growing team in Chipping Norton This is primarily an employed opportunity, offering a £30,000-£35,000 basic salary with realistic OTE of £65,000-£70,000.

You'll receive leads and support from the wider business while developing your own client relationships and growing your client bank The team is looking for someone who wants to build a career with the business and become an integral part of it. You'll spend a reasonable amount of time working alongside the team in the Chipping Norton office, with flexibility and hybrid working available.

For someone looking to develop further, there is also a supported pathway towards becoming a Financial Adviser within the St. James's Place Partnership About the role You'll provide professional, compliant and client-focused mortgage and protection advice, building trusted, long-term relationships and managing cases from initial enquiry through to completion and beyond. Key responsibilities will include:
Providing mortgage and protection advice tailored to individual client needs Completing fact-finds, affordability assessments and appropriate product research Managing mortgage and protection applications through to completion Maintaining accurate client records and compliant file notes Liaising with lenders, providers, solicitors, estate agents and other professionals Building strong client relationships and developing repeat and referral business Developing your own client bank with leads and support from the wider business Managing your own diary, workload and pipeline About you As Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you'll need:
CeMAP 1, 2 and 3, Cert CII (MP), or an equivalent recognised mortgage qualification Experience providing regulated mortgage advice Experience providing protection advice alongside mortgage recommendations A sound understanding of mortgage products, lender criteria and the regulatory environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent organisation and case-management skills The confidence to work independently whilst being an active part of the wider team What's on offer?
