Truss Fabricator / Factory Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Truss Fabricator / Factory Operative to join our client's busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual seeking stable, long-term employment with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Working within a timber engineering factory, the Truss Fabricator / Factory Operative will be involved in:

• Fabricating and assembling timber roof trusses to specification
• Operating production machinery and hand tools safely
• Reading and following production drawings
• Conducting quality checks on finished products
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Assisting with general manufacturing duties as required

This position is based in Enstone, Oxfordshire, and is easily accessible from Chipping Norton, Woodstock, Kidlington, Witney, Banbury and surrounding areas.

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
• 39.5 hours per week
• £12.71 per hour

• Previous manufacturing, factory, construction or woodworking experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A strong commitment to health and safety
