Requirements

• Prior experience working as a Student Care Teacher, preferably in a senior or lead capacity
• Strong experience managing and teaching primary school children

Job Scope

• Supervise primary school learners during student care hours.
• Guide learners in daily homework, corrections, spelling, revision and schoolwork.
• Provide academic support in English language, Mathematics, Science and other primary-level subjects where required.
• Manage classroom activities and student behaviour according to centre guidelines.
• Monitor learners’ academic progress and classroom performance.
• Provide regular updates to parents on learners’ academic progress and behaviour.
• Plan and conduct enrichment, holiday and experiential learning activities.
• Prepare lessons, worksheets, teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Establish and maintain classroom routines and teaching practices.
• Guide and support junior Student Care Teachers where required.
• Assist the Centre Principal and management team with daily centre operations and programme implementation.
• Ensure classroom activities and programmes are conducted according to the centre’s standards and procedures.
