Senior Project Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the delivery of Omexom HV substation transmission projects for SSE and other UK utility clients, guiding contracts from award through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You will coordinate resources, manage risks, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes. You will shape project strategy, drive safety and efficiency, and support growth of Omexom through successful project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience
• Understanding of construction processes in transmission substations
• PM qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or similar
• Experience planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects in an engineering sector
• Proven budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation skills
• Strong communication, negotiation, and team motivation capabilities
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and software packages
