Locums First is looking for Locum Nurse Practitioners in Choppington
. This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across a variety of primary care services, making it ideal for NPs who want to balance autonomy with consistent local opportunities across different clinical environments.
You will support local providers by delivering NP-led clinics, handling minor illness presentations, supporting triage workflows and carrying out general clinical duties. Each service provides structured procedures and clear expectations, ensuring smooth integration and safe clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities- Running independent NP clinics across primary care services
- Managing minor illness presentations and routine patient assessments
- Providing telephone or face-to-face triage
- Prescribing within scope (if qualified)
- Handling clinical actions such as results and medication reviews
- Recording accurate and compliant clinical notes
- Supporting wider clinical teams where required
- Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical background
- Independent Prescribing qualification desirable
