About the Account Management function:

The primary liaison between TVS and our clients’ management teams, the Account Management function is responsible for client retention, growth and contract adherence. Account Managers hold the ultimate responsibility for the commercial performance of our contracts and work with various departments across the business to bring together an excellent customer experience through service, new solutions and value to maintain strong relationships.

The team has a commercial focus and plays a key role in shaping the path of our business through strategy and solution development.

Your

Purpose:

Reporting to the Head of Department (or a Senior Account Manager), you will support the Account Management function in managing client relations. Learn and understand our clients’ businesses and what drives them. Work with Account Managers to support identification of new opportunities that benefit all parties. Provide support to Account Managers through reporting, KPI and trend analysis. Work with Account Managers to drive the effectiveness of business processes which underpin performance on our contracts, assisting with commercial initiatives and continuous improvement projects across various business functions.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role. You will work to deliver excellent customer experiences with a focus towards commercial aspects of contract management; you will need to be flexible and open to change.

A development pathway to becoming an Account Manager will be provided with training and opportunities to grow and learn within a commercial client facing world.

Job Responsibilities

Your Main

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Account Management function to maintain and broaden commercial and account relationships with clients
  • Provide administrative support to Account Managers
  • Support Account Managers in the delivery of key account plans and strategic goals
  • Support in the resolution of client escalations
  • Support Account Managers in delivering an excellent customer experience
  • if required
  • Represent TVS SCS in interfaces with the client if required
  • Maintain effective action logs to manage multiple priorities
  • Support the maintenance of client reports
  • Occasional liaison with the client accounting team to support the planning and forecasting process
  • Contribute ideas to develop marketing and growth strategies
  • Identify and attend industry and networking events to grow network
  • Support in identifying new potential ideas to grow our pipeline
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders within TVS SCS
  • Develop industry insights and knowledge

If required:

  • Maintain monthly contract performance dashboards with the Account Manager
  • Provide holiday and absence cover
  • Attend client entertainment events
  • Support in on-time client payment in line with contracted terms

Though this position would be primarily office based at Chorley, applicants must be willing to travel and at times work from other locations, infrequent international travel may be required from time to time. Depending on experience and growth within the role, you may be asked to act as a principal manager of the relationship with the client’s management team for smaller-scale contracts, providing you with a step to becoming an Account Manager.
