Overview

Do you have experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor? This well established and highly successful company just outside Chorley town centre with sites across the UK is expanding and looking for a Senior Estimator to work on projects across the UK. Responsibilities
  • Work from the head office in Chorley and manage sites and projects across the UK.
  • Understand and interpret client briefs.
  • Produce detailed cost plans aligned with briefs and associated documentation.
  • Cost multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Use technical knowledge to price projects effectively with varying levels of information.
  • Make allowances for compliance.
  • Coordinate with design teams, asset and property managers, and construction teams.
  • Work closely with suppliers/subcontractors to achieve the best price.
  • Carry out surveys to assist with design and quantifying.
  • Determine how progress will impact cost.
  • Influence project decision‑making with pre‑construction advice.
  • Identify risk areas and make allowances accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar Estimator or Quantity Surveyor role.
  • Experience of fit‑outs essential.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Superb communication skills and ability to communicate confidently and effectively on all levels.
  • Highly organised with excellent time‑management skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Full current driving licence.
  • Comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • CAD experience beneficial.
  • Stable career history.
