Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service/Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, assisting with parts and service enquiries, and supporting the smooth operation of our workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good understanding of vehicle parts and mechanical processes, and a proactive approach to upselling and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their service or parts requirements in a courteous manner
  • Provide expert advice on vehicle parts, accessories, and service options to meet customer needs
  • Upsell additional products or services where appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and business revenue
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using the till system
  • Maintain organised records of sales, service orders, and customer interactions
  • Liaise with technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing
  • Keep the service/parts area clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle components is highly desirable
  • Experience in upselling products or services effectively without being pushy
  • Cash handling experience with accuracy in processing transactions
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn about new products, services, and industry developments
