Overview
Chorley Full-Time | Long-Term | We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Chorley. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire students and make a real impact within a thriving music department.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons in line with the national curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential KS5 depending on experience).
- Teach practical and theoretical elements of Music.
- Support students' musical development through performance, composition, and listening.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and department.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Experience teaching Music at secondary level.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Passionate about Music education and student development.
- Able to commit to a full-time, long-term role.
- Long-term, stable role in a supportive school.
- Competitive daily rate / salary (depending on experience).

All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and relevant safeguarding procedures in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
