St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Withnell, Chorley, Lancashire seeks a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support Class 2, Year 2/3.

The role involves assisting the classroom teacher and supporting small groups of about fifteen pupils. The successful candidate must be committed to the Catholic ethos, build positive relationships with children, staff, parents, governors and the community, and maintain high standards for all.

Support the classroom teacher and student groups, helping to deliver learning and manage classroom activities.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of educational provision and pupil experience.

Embed and promote the Catholic ethos of the school, and collaborate with colleagues to uphold standards and expectations.

This part‑time, term‑time position offers a pro‑rata salary based on a full‑time equivalent rate.

• Essential qualifications:
  Level 3 qualification.
• Essential experience:
  Working in a school environment or supporting groups of children.
