• Role: Year 2 Teaching Assistant
• Location: Primary school in Chorley
• Start Date: September 2026
• Hours: Full-time (term-time only)
• Support: 1:1 support and general classroom assistance

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils, helping them access learning and stay engaged
• Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils with emotional, social, and behavioural needs when required

• Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting (Year 2/KS1 desirable)
• Ability to provide 1:1 support and work effectively with small groups
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
