SEND Teaching Assistant | Chorley area | from £92.63 per day | Full-time and Part-time

Do you have a passion to support children with SEND? Are you ready to take the next step forward in your career? Axcis are a specialist SEND education agency that are currently recruiting teaching assistants with special educational needs experience to support children and young people across the Chorley area. We are looking for teaching assistants with experience working in an education or care setting and with a range of special educational needs.

In this role you will be supporting children on both a 1-1 and group basis within the classroom and assisting them in accessing the curriculum to the best of their ability.

Responsibilities

This is a temporary position unless stated otherwise.

What we offer
  • Flexibility to suit your needs – Full-time is preferred but part-time opportunities are also available.
  • Daily rates starting from £92.63 per day.
  • A range of training courses through the national college for CPD.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months working with SEND in an education or care setting (3 months must be in the UK for overseas candidates).
  • An enhanced DBS certificate – if not, we can assist with applying for one.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Candidates must be able to drive and reliably commute within Chorley and surrounding areas.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
