Senior Stress Engineer
£54 per hour | Outside IR35 4-Day Working Week | Hybrid (2 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)
The Role- Produce and review stress calculations and analysis reports.
- Carry out classical hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Support design teams with technical guidance and design improvements.
- Review subcontractor work and liaise with clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
- Minimum 5 years' stress analysis experience.
- Strong experience with FEA, ANSYS and Mathcad.
- Knowledge of BS 2573, BS EN 13001, BS EN 1090 and Structural Eurocodes.
- Excellent technical reporting skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Desirable:
Chartered Engineer (or working towards). - Desirable:
Nuclear or seismic analysis experience. - Desirable:
Autodesk Inventor experience.
- £54 per hour
- Outside IR35
- 4-day working week
- Hybrid working (2 office / 2 remote)
- Long-term contract on challenging engineering projects
