Hazelwood are looking for an Assistant Practitioner, who has a passion for providing high quality patient focused care who have a flexible attitude towards work and a desire for new challenges.
On Hazelwood you will care for patients with respiratory illnesses and general medical conditions, you will learn to care for patients with long term respiratory conditions such as COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, type 1 respiratory failure and type 2 respiratory failure.

Main duties of the jobGeneral duties will include , physiological observations and investigations. You will develop an in depth knowledge of , oxygen therapy, blood gas interpretation, wound management, chest drain and fluid balance management and provide personal care to patients.
As a Band 4 you will receive direct support from senior nursing colleagues to develop and enhance your skills. Enabling you to nurse a cohort of patients and be responsible for their care.
