Senior Support Worker

We are looking for Senior Support Workers for a new 3 Bed home supporting 8-18s with EBD SEMHand challenging behaviour. Close to Blackburn and Bolton

Salary
Senior Support Workers £16 per hour + £65 per sleep (must be qualified and a driver)
You will be expected to sleep in after some of your shifts
£33000  £40000
Duties include
Supporting and managing the staff team to meet the needs of the young person
Planning each shift and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately
Working with external professionals to deliver positive outcomes
Providing supervision and support to staff in line with Quality Standards
Supporting the young person to engage in education
Ensuring their health needs are met
Providing advice, support and guidance
Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention
Administering and recording medication
Maintaining daily records and administrative work
Contributing to the care planning process
Liaising with external stakeholders and our multidisciplinary team
Attending mandatory training
Engaging in team meetings
Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc.)
Requirements
Able to work Full time
A full UK driving license ( preferred )
Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
An understanding that this role will require that you undertake EnhancedDBSchecks
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
Experience working and supporting 6-18 year old withEBD, challenging behaviour and complex care.
You will have some experience supporting children or young people with EBD.
Seniors MUST haveNVQ level 3 Children Residential plus 2 years Support Work experience (Childrens)
