We're looking for enthusiastic and committed Outreach Workers to join Lancashire County Council's Best Start in Life Programme. This rewarding role puts you at the heart of local communities, helping families access the support they need to give their children the best possible start.

No two days are the same. You'll work across Family Hubs, community venues, and outreach settings, bringing services directly to families and helping create stronger, healthier communities.

• Deliver engaging group sessions, activities, and drop-in support for children, parents, and carers.
• Work across Family Hubs, local community venues, and mobile outreach services.
• Help design and deliver innovative, family-centred programmes that promote early learning, health, wellbeing, and development.
• Build positive relationships with families, encouraging confidence, resilience, and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and local organisations to provide effective early help and support.
• Identify community needs and help shape services that respond to local priorities.

• Has a genuine passion for supporting children, families, and local communities.
• Can quickly build trust and positive relationships with a wide range of people.
• Has experience delivering or supporting group activities, workshops, or community programmes.
• Is organised, proactive, and adaptable.
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive, community-focused team.
