Software Engineer - .Net​/Azure Developer

My Client are looking for a permanent .Net / Azure Developer to join the growing team in Chorley, Lancashire. They are updating their systems and tech, whilst investing in the team. You will be part of an innovative team, they are truly passionate about tech and continually improving.

Salary up to £75k + benefits. 2-3 days a week in the Chorley office.

• Strong Microsoft Stack Expertise: Deep experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core, Azure cloud technologies, and SQL Server development/optimisation.
• Cloud & Dev Ops Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud-first technologies such as Azure Functions, AKS, service bus, and modern Dev Ops practices.
• Software Quality & Security: Experience with testing, performance optimisation, secure architecture, and scalable system design.
• Collaborative Mindset: Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and agile delivery skills, with enthusiasm for innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.

• Cloud & Application Development: Build and enhance modern Azure cloud-first .NET applications and scalable software solutions.
• Dev Ops & Engineering Practices: Drive collaborative Dev Ops culture, CI/CD practices, testing, and performance optimisation across the development lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Delivery: Work within agile squads to design and deliver innovative, business-focused technology solutions.
• Data & Platform Engineering: Develop and optimise high-volume SQL Server databases, cloud services, and secure architectures.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a forward-thinking engineering environment focused on modern technologies, learning, and continuous improvement.
