Enter daily financial transactions, allocating payments and receipts into the accounting system Keep the purchase and sales ledger accurate and up to date, processing invoices and resolving discrepancies Monitor aged debtors, chase outstanding balances and send customer statements Reconcile bank statements, and customer and supplier accounts Produce weekly cash flow forecasts and reconcile monthly salary accounts Support month end reporting and liaise with internal departments on account queries As an Accounts Assistant, your experience will include:
Experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role, confident processing purchase and sales ledger transactions Comfortable reconciling bank statements, and customer and supplier accounts Experience chasing aged debt and managing credit control processes Strong Excel skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Experience producing cash flow forecasts or supporting month end reporting AAT or equivalent accounts qualification desirable but not essential If you're looking for a part time accounts role where your accuracy and reliability will be relied on daily, this Accounts Assistant position is worth a conversation.
