Are you looking for a term-time only, mornings-only Nursery Practitioner role within a supportive Flying Start setting?

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming Flying Start setting in Newport to recruit a Nursery Practitioner. The setting provides a nurturing and engaging environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning through high-quality early years experiences.

The setting is looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner on a fixed-term 12-month contract, working mornings only during term time from September. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children's learning and development through play-based activities, help create a safe and stimulating environment and work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality early years provision.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children in an early years setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
