Advance TRS are supporting a leading contractor in the Southwest Water region. They are looking for a confident, hands‑on Mechanical Site Supervisor (Mechanical AP) to take charge on site.
The RoleReporting to the M&E Manager / Lead Site Supervisor, you’ll drive and control all mechanical site activities – delivering to spec, on time, and with zero compromise on health & safety or quality.
You’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring:
- Safe working environments for all staff, subcontractors & visitors
- HS&E documentation is current, compliant & fully reviewed
- Method Statements & Work Instructions are robust and followed
- Mechanical works are delivered to specification and programme
- ITPs are completed progressively
- Accurate progress recording & as‑built updates
- Non‑conformances are identified, recorded and resolved efficiently
You’re an experienced water sector professional who knows mechanical installations inside out:
- Strong background in pipework fabrication, welding & erection
- Able to assess weld quality with confidence
- Experienced in punching & snagging pipelines to Isometric, GA & P&
- Comfortable reviewing technical documentation and driving standards on site
- HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship in pipework & welding + experience
- SSSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Immediate start
- 12 months+ contract
- £400-£450 per day
